About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at ClearCaptions is a customer-centric role focused on helping seniors by installing and training them on ClearCaptions products. This position involves conducting installations in customer homes, generating referrals, and building community relationships. The role is primarily field-based, requiring a passion for service and the ability to work independently while contributing to the company's mission of improving communication for the hard-of-hearing.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct company installs from leads in customer homes (90% of the time).
  • Generate referrals and build relationships within the community.
  • Install ClearCaptions products and connect them to customers' existing services.
  • Educate customers on how to use the phone and its features.
  • Establish relationships with retirement communities and groups in the local market.
  • Create and attend Senior Events to educate consumers about their entitlement to equipment and services.
  • Build relationships with Hearing Professionals to promote Caption Telephone Services.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Create lead-generation activities and generate referrals.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with assigned customers.
  • Be actively involved in local Senior Citizens & Hard of Hearing organizations and events.
  • Maintain customer and territory records using Salesforce.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Outside sales experience in B2B and/or B2C.
  • Sales experience or work with seniors preferred.
  • Experience in the hearing health field is beneficial.
  • Valid driver's license and personal automobile.
  • Ability to travel extensively by car and occasionally by air.
  • Proficient computer skills and basic internet use.
  • Excellent people and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Experience working in the hearing health field.
  • Comfortable working with seniors and disabled persons.
