About the position

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) at FyterTech Nonwovens is responsible for achieving sales and profit goals within the assigned territory. This role involves collaborating with key end-users to conduct site audits, enhance productivity, and foster long-term partnerships with distributors and customers. The TSM will develop and implement an annual sales plan aligned with the organization's strategic objectives, while regularly reporting progress and competitive activities to the Director of Sales. The position requires effective selling strategies, customer relationship management, and territory development to drive growth and market share.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed overall sales and profit goals within the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate on-site with key end-users to deliver site audits and productivity gains.
  • Support sell-through activities and utilize FyterTech's value proposition with distribution partners.
  • Develop and implement an annual sales plan in support of the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Track progress against objectives and communicate adjustments to the plan to the Director of Sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential distributors and end users.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the Director of Sales or other members of the Sales Leadership team.
  • Spend at least 50% of time with end users in the field to understand their processes and applications.
  • Monitor and manage annual travel & entertainment budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent sales experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience selling industrial products.
  • Excellent presentation skills in dynamic environments.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management skills to balance territory needs while executing initiatives.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Power BI, and CRM.

Nice-to-haves

  • Current or past experience with a safety products manufacturer preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to effectively engage and sell in a virtual environment using technology like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
