The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for the sales and promotion of Burndy products through Distribution to end-users and specifying influences for attaining assigned sales quotas within a territory. The territory would be Southern California. This role requires managing an assigned territory to ensure effective, efficient, and economical use of available time and Company assets to achieve sales objectives. The Territory Sales Manager will conduct sales calls on Distributors and all potential users/consumers of Burndy products, ensuring that the products are well-represented and that sales targets are met. In addition to direct sales activities, the Territory Sales Manager will train Distributor personnel to sell and promote Hubbell products, managing Distributor inventory and investments to ensure maintenance of proper inventories to service the trading area and maximize the “Return on Investment.” Maintaining accurate account records is crucial, and the manager will utilize TMS/Electronic TMS for this purpose. The role also involves conducting sales training, both internal and external, within the District and Region as directed by Field Management. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for conducting formal sales presentations to various groups, distributors, and end-users. Effective communication is key, as the manager will need to engage with various types of end-users in a variety of ways, including letters, telephone calls, small group meetings, person-to-person meetings, Trade Shows, and business-oriented social functions. The manager will also serve as a customer information center for literature requests, catalog requests, technical details, drawings, and cross-reference information, ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed and supported.
