About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Virtual Fencing Technology is a vital role within the field sales team at Vence, a subsidiary of our company focused on ranching and grazing management. This position is responsible for driving sales growth by promoting virtual fencing solutions to ranches, government entities, and NGOs in Montana, Idaho, and Western North Dakota. The successful candidate will leverage their knowledge of the beef industry to enhance customer relationships and optimize grazing resources.

Responsibilities

  • Identify sales opportunities suitable for Virtual Fencing technology.
  • Develop sales proposals and implement contractual agreements.
  • Create and execute sales strategies and tactics to engage the target customer base.
  • Gather and communicate market intelligence to management and marketing teams.
  • Coordinate with the Rancher Success Team to transition new customers successfully.
  • Provide feedback and content to the Marketing organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with the ranching community.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the beef industry and cattle grazing.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Motivated and focused on achieving measurable results.
  • Ability to build internal relationships and work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
  • Skills in planning, organization, communication, selling, and business acumen.
