About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Vence is a vital member of the field sales team, responsible for driving sales growth in the ranching and grazing management sectors. This role focuses on promoting virtual fencing technology to ranches, government entities, and NGOs in Montana, Idaho, and Western North Dakota, aiming to enhance landscape management and optimize grazing resources.

Responsibilities

  • Identify sales opportunities suitable for Virtual Fencing technology.
  • Develop sales proposals and implement contractual agreements.
  • Create and implement sales strategies and tactics to reach the intended customer base, including field days and regional meetings.
  • Gather and communicate market intelligence to management and marketing colleagues.
  • Coordinate with the Rancher Success Team to transition new customers successfully.
  • Provide feedback and content to the Marketing organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with a ranching community.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the beef industry and cattle grazing.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated motivation and focus on achieving measurable, tangible results.
  • Ability to build internal relationships and work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
  • Skills in planning, organization, communication, selling, and business acumen.
