About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Vence plays a crucial role in driving sales growth for the company's virtual fencing technology within the ranching community across Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and the Four Corners. This position involves engaging with ranchers, government entities, and NGOs to promote sustainable grazing practices and improve conservation outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, developing proposals, and implementing sales strategies to enhance customer relationships and market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Identify sales opportunities suitable for Virtual Fencing technology.
  • Develop sales proposals and implement contractual agreements.
  • Create and implement sales strategies and tactics to reach the intended customer base, including field days and regional meetings.
  • Gather and communicate market intelligence to management and marketing teams.
  • Coordinate with the Rancher Success Team to transition new customers successfully.
  • Provide feedback and content to the Marketing organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with the ranching community.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the beef industry and cattle grazing.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Motivated and focused on achieving measurable results.
  • Ability to build internal relationships and work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
  • Skills in planning, organization, communication, selling, and business acumen.
