About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Water Utility Services will leverage existing relationships within the Municipal Water Utility sector to drive sales and manage capital improvement projects aimed at enhancing water treatment and delivery infrastructure. This role is crucial in advancing municipal water management practices and offers the opportunity to work remotely while being supported by a collaborative organization committed to sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close a wide range of capital improvement projects and long-term asset management programs.
  • Collaborate with experts in the field to share ideas and advance innovative solutions for water infrastructure challenges.
  • Prepare commercial proposals and make recommendations for improvements based on data collection and assessment of mechanical process equipment.
  • Manage relationships with clients in the Municipal Water Utility sector to drive sales and project success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Environmental Services, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of successful sales, consulting, or operations experience in Municipal Water Utilities or related industries.
  • Prior project management experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect data and assess mechanical process equipment.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Exposure or expertise with design-build water distribution, wastewater, or sewer infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with steel or concrete water storage tank construction and maintenance.
  • Experience with Smart Water Meters, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), and Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) technologies.
  • Knowledge of trenchless piping repair and spraying in place coating technologies.
