About the position

The Outside Territory Manager is a pivotal role within our client's sales team, responsible for driving new business and managing existing accounts in the concrete construction industry. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, where the manager will engage in the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial outreach to conducting product demonstrations and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating a technical environment, effectively communicating with engineers, project managers, and construction managers to understand their needs and present tailored solutions. As part of the Territory Sales Team, the Outside Territory Manager will leverage the company's cloud-based, real-time monitoring solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity in construction processes. This role is not just about selling; it involves building long-term relationships with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with the products and services offered. The manager will be expected to maintain a book of business while continuously seeking opportunities for growth within their assigned territory. Candidates must be prepared to travel extensively within the US and Canada, as meeting clients in person is crucial for establishing trust and understanding their unique challenges. The position is field-based, requiring candidates to reside in the West Region, preferably in the Greater Los Angeles area, to effectively cover their territory.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of Outside B2B sales experience within the Industrial or Construction space.
  • Familiarity with Concrete, Cement, or Admixture and ability to speak on a technical level.
  • Ability to use a CRM to track and forecast all sales data.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the US and Canada, upwards of 50%.
