About the position

As a Territory Sales Manager for Gripple, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our innovative products within the commercial construction market in the Los Angeles territory. Gripple is recognized as a world leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of cable suspension systems, wire joiners, tensioners, and anchoring solutions. Our products are utilized in various sectors, including commercial construction, vineyards, trellising, fencing, erosion control, and solar projects. With our headquarters in Sheffield, England, and a strong presence in the U.S. through our Aurora, IL, and Santa Fe Springs, CA locations, we pride ourselves on our entrepreneurial culture and commitment to equality and teamwork. In this role, you will be expected to leverage your sales expertise to drive both new and existing sales of our patented Gripple hanger products. You will work from your home office, supported by our dedicated teams in the office and manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a dynamic sales approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovation. You will be responsible for building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that meet their requirements. Your ability to work independently and manage your territory effectively will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new and existing sales of Gripple hanger products in the Los Angeles territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the commercial construction market.
  • Work independently from a home office while collaborating with teams in Aurora, IL, and Santa Fe Springs, CA.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Challenge conventional sales approaches and drive innovation in the sales process.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in meeting customer needs and expectations.

Requirements

  • 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in MEP sales.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • Dynamic, energetic, and inquisitive personality.
  • Passionate, committed, and enthusiastic about sales and customer service.
  • Strong determination and ambition to drive territory growth.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the commercial construction market.
  • Familiarity with cable suspension systems and related products.
