About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for the West Region at Carrier is responsible for managing commercial accounts and enhancing distribution channel management performance. This role involves building business relationships, participating in customer relationship management, and driving sales across the western United States. The position requires a proactive approach to business development and customer engagement, ensuring the company's interests are represented effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage commercial accounts across the western United States.
  • Participate in establishing prospects and developing professional relationships to understand customer needs.
  • Aid in business development activities for prospects within defined customer segments to support business strategy.
  • Prospect bid opportunities, participate in the preparation of bid responses, and negotiate with potential customers.
  • Assist in identifying prospective target accounts and present to the sales business development team.
  • Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
  • Participate in trade shows to increase the visibility of the organization.
  • Drive sales in Western USA.
  • Develop commercial partnership relations.
  • Find new markets for existing products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of Account Management Experience or Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of Account Management Experience.
  • 3+ Years of Combustion System or Boiler related industry experience.
