About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and promoting Hubbell Killark's product portfolio within the Western Washington and Oregon territories. This role focuses on building strong relationships with distributors, electrical contractors, and end-users to achieve assigned sales quotas. The position requires effective territory management, sales training, and communication with various stakeholders to create demand for the company's products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned territory to achieve sales objectives effectively and efficiently.
  • Conduct sales calls on distributors and potential users of Hubbell Killark products.
  • Train distributor personnel to sell and promote Hubbell products and manage their inventory.
  • Maintain accurate account records using TMS/Electronic TMS.
  • Conduct sales training for internal and external stakeholders as directed by Field Management.
  • Deliver formal sales presentations to groups, distributors, and end-users.
  • Communicate issues, opportunities, and successes to the District Manager.
  • Service distributors and end-users to create demand for the company's products.
  • Build rapport and strong relationships with distribution, end-users, and specifying influences.
  • Cover open territories as assigned by the District Manager.
  • Act as a customer information center for literature, catalog requests, and technical details.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a high school diploma with 2+ years of relevant industry sales experience.
  • Prior sales and/or industry experience is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, TEAMS, OneDrive) and SAP Concur Solutions.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
