The Territory Sales Manager will oversee operations across multiple states including Wisconsin, Northern Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan. This role is critical in managing multiple multi-million dollar business units and ensuring their profitability and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will be a goal-driven leader who is ambitious and ready to take on challenges. They will be responsible for supporting the operations activities of Branch and Service Managers, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction during all deliveries, and monitoring all discretionary spending of Business Units. The position requires regular inspections of corporate assets and participation in the preparation of monthly financial reports and KPI reviews. The Territory Sales Manager will also assist in recruiting and onboarding Field Operatives, ensuring that the team is well-supported and managed. This role is essential for driving professional success and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the safety, compliance and profitability of all business unit operations in the territory.
  • Directly support the operations activities of all Branch and Service Managers, Service Planners and Project Managers.
  • Oversee safety, productivity, and reporting accuracy of all Field Operatives.
  • Assure quality, customer satisfaction and profitability during all deliveries.
  • Monitor, report and resolve all internal and external warranty claims.
  • Coordinate activities with all corporate functions operating in the territory.
  • Regularly inspect and ensure the proper operation, maintenance, repair, protection and safety of all corporate assets.
  • Monitor all discretionary spending of Business Units.
  • Review and supervise the quotation of all service work.
  • Participate in and assist in the preparation of District monthly financial reports and KPI review.
  • Provide any necessary support and field supervision for major projects and modernization activities.
  • Assist Business Unit management with the recruiting, onboarding, support and management of all Field Operatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a manager in a service-related sales or operations; equivalent experience, education, and training will be considered.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and well-developed 'people' skills.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good PC skills.
