About the position

Acuren Inspection is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to enhance our operations by generating new sales opportunities within the region. This role is pivotal as it encompasses all aspects of sales and marketing for the designated service line while also contributing to the broader organizational sales and marketing efforts. The Territory Sales Manager acts as a crucial liaison between our customers and the company, playing an integral part in the management team. In this position, the Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective growth programs, identifying new technologies and service lines, and fostering collaboration and communication across the region. A key focus will be on improving client satisfaction and actively engaging with clients during stewardship meetings. Additionally, the role requires establishing sound processes for nurturing future sales and business development managers. The Territory Sales Manager will also work closely with other Acuren Operating Managers and local sales managers to facilitate contact and lead referrals, provide technical support, identify best practices, and participate in initiatives targeting specific accounts, services, and vertical markets. The primary objective is to create and close new business opportunities, particularly within the automotive, aerospace, and heavy industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the effort to grow revenues within the vertical market of automotive/aerospace/heavy industrial throughout the US.
  • Manage and execute on all selling and growth objectives.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and administration of all aspects of sales and business development activities to ensure alignment with regional sales strategies.
  • Execute responsibilities according to lawful and ethical standards, promoting Acuren's values relating to ethics, integrity, safety, quality, and corporate responsibility.
  • Ensure clients receive quality services in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients or prospective clients as required.
  • Lead growth initiatives including service line expansions and new client development.
  • Develop new clients and service lines, executing on specific client opportunities.
  • Manage location-specific operating and growth plans and maintain an active pipeline.
  • Prepare competitive bids that win.
  • Support client management through major account management and develop new client opportunities.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years experience in Pulp and Paper, Power Generation, and Automotive sectors; experience in heavy industrial casting markets is a plus.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, and business development within a technical service or product organization.
  • Prior knowledge and experience with large industrial clients and technical marketing.
  • Strong track record with leading global businesses as a business partner to senior management in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated success in technical, solutions-oriented sales directed to engineering and operating managers in large industrial companies.
  • Experience with sales methodologies for a diverse customer base from enterprise to small and medium businesses.
  • Experience managing effective utilization of CRM or related sales systems.
  • Evidence of a hands-on leadership orientation in a performance-oriented work setting.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time.
  • A technical undergraduate degree is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
