About the position

Pro-Vac is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join their team in Houston, TX. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer experiences during the sales cycle while managing client relationships. The ideal candidate will develop a strategic growth plan for a specified geographic territory and assist the Director of Sales in expanding the Pro-Vac brand through proactive account generation and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creation, bids, and cold calling to drive profitable growth.
  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the assigned territory.
  • Manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service during the sales cycle.
  • Educate contacts with insights and industry best practices.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities when handling initial prospect requests.
  • Collaborate with field sellers to ensure leads needing additional scoping are passed on.
  • Utilize data to develop and execute successful sales strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in a business development role.
  • 3 years of outside sales experience in the hydro-excavation services and infrastructure environment.
  • Experience in hydrovac, construction, utilities, or environmental services industry.
  • Knowledge of public and private bid processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience growing sales with existing and new customers in a B2B business development role.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to identify opportunities to create more value for customers.
  • Existing relationships and specific experience in excavation services.
