About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Lift Solutions is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and developing opportunities with both new and existing customers. This role involves direct communication through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions to expand the company's product offerings and enhance customer relationships. The position emphasizes customer satisfaction and requires a proactive approach to sales and service.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and grow sales opportunities from new and existing customers.
  • Make contact with assigned accounts on a quarterly basis, at a minimum.
  • Conduct site evaluations to identify opportunities and provide proposals.
  • Build relationships with customer's purchasing, maintenance, and tool crib departments.
  • Follow up on market or customer specific internet leads.
  • Identify market opportunities and develop a contact strategy for new business.
  • Provide quote follow-up and respond to RFQs and Proposal Requests in a timely manner.
  • Leverage resources to provide excellent customer service and product offerings.
  • Spend time with Service Techs at customer facilities to identify opportunities.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in sales or a closely related field (preferred).
  • Three years of relevant sales and industry experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (necessary) and Sage 100 ERP (preferred).
  • Strong customer service orientation and/or sales background.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver license with a proven safe driving record.

  • Knowledge of the industry within a given market.
