About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Weil-McLain is responsible for driving sales growth and managing relationships within a designated territory. This role involves promoting Williamson-Thermoflo branded products, developing strong contractor and distributor relationships, and implementing effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals. The position requires a proactive approach to customer engagement and a strong understanding of the HVAC industry.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the sale of Williamson-Thermoflo branded products to identified contractors and wholesale distributors within the sales territory.
  • Interface with distributor principles such as top management, sales management, and purchasing management.
  • Conduct personal calls on contractors and participate in distributor-sponsored events.
  • Proactively seek out and engage with new customers, contractors, and distributors to expand market presence.
  • Meet or exceed year-end revenue goals.
  • Plan and implement sales activities with distributor customers.
  • Educate customers on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide quick responses to distributor and contractor inquiries.
  • Represent Williamson-Thermoflo at regional and national trade shows.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and follow-up.
  • Deliver product and technical training to enhance customer understanding.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance and market trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in HVAC, plumbing, or a closely related industry.
  • Experience in delivering technical training.
  • Demonstrates technical understanding of product features and installation.
  • Experience working remotely.
