About the position

The HVAC Territory Sales Manager at Air Management Supply Inc LLC is responsible for developing and managing a defined sales territory to achieve profitability goals and drive overall sales growth. This role emphasizes building strong customer relationships, providing exceptional service, and applying HVAC knowledge to meet customer needs effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales territory to meet and exceed profitability goals as defined by the strategic plan, annual sales budget, and desired levels of market penetration for overall volume, margin, and product line.
  • Maintain strong relationships and provide outstanding levels of customer service internally and externally.
  • Apply knowledge of basic air conditioning and heating concepts to appropriately assist customers with product needs or problems.
  • Keep customers current with updated pricing information.
  • Provide marketing and promotional designs to expand sales.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files relating to customer contact, details, and promotional activities.
  • Assess and monitor competition in territory to identify potential and/or lost business.
  • Drive to customer locations to sell products and services, establish relationships, and solve problems.
  • Achieve successful outcomes through the application of a consultative sales process, relationship-based, providing solutions to business problems.
  • Participate in training opportunities, sales meetings, and events while professionally representing the company.
  • Conduct data analyses to key accounts/prospects measuring actual track purchases to goals.
  • Support corporate efforts for safety, government compliance, and all other company policies.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 years industry sales or customer service experience with demonstrated profitable sales experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of the HVAC industry with application, technical, managerial experience a plus.
  • Good listener and strong communicator with the ability to build rapport.
  • Entrepreneurial, goal-driven, action-oriented, self-motivated, organized.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of people and situations in a positive and open-minded manner.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Related degree is a plus.
