About the position

As a Territory Sales Manager for Cornerstone Building Brands, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth for the market leader in windows. You will analyze market segments to identify opportunities for growth and development, and strategically plan your daily activities using CRM tools and a structured call frequency system to optimize sales opportunities. Customer engagement is a key aspect of this role. You will conduct sales promotions, educational meetings, and lead generation activities to foster strong relationships with customers. Customizing sales presentations to increase annual sales for your customers will be essential. Additionally, you will recommend pricing changes based on market dynamics and competitive analysis, ensuring that your pricing strategies align with company guidelines. Problem resolution is another critical responsibility. You will address customer complaints promptly, investigate issues, and recommend solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintaining thorough sales records, including customer profiles and territory/account sales records, will be part of your administrative duties. This position requires a proactive approach to sales and a commitment to building long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of proven direct sales experience, preferably in the building products industry
  • Thorough understanding of the building products industry and sales management experience in dealer, distribution, and/or two-step channel segments
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills essential
  • General knowledge of major competitive brands within the industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Solid time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high level of integrity and personal motivation
