Primex Plastics Corporation is seeking a dedicated and professional Territory Sales/Business Manager to join our team, focusing on the New York, Ontario, and Quebec markets, particularly in Toronto and Montreal. As one of the largest custom extruded plastic sheet producers in the United States, we pride ourselves on our extensive manufacturing capabilities and our commitment to quality. The Territory Sales Manager will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new long-term customer relationships, identifying new target accounts, and successfully closing new business opportunities. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will be interacting with various levels of an organization. The position demands a significant amount of travel, approximately 75%, with 50% of that being overnight stays. This travel is essential for meeting clients, attending industry events, and fostering relationships that drive sales growth. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of outside industrial sales experience, preferably in the plastics industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy
  • Strong organizational, planning, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time, with 50% overnight travel
  • Successful record of obtaining new business and maintaining customer relationships
  • Self-starter with enthusiasm for selling
