About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at PetroChoice is responsible for acquiring new accounts and maintaining relationships with existing customers in the greater Omaha, NE area. This role involves managing the territory to provide services and solutions, achieving sales volumes and profitability goals, and implementing corporate strategic objectives. The position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently while adhering to company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new accounts and maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Manage the territory by providing services and solutions to customers.
  • Achieve sales volumes and profitability goals.
  • Implement corporate strategic objectives.
  • Identify leads through personal territory knowledge and maintain them in Salesforce CRM.
  • Follow up on leads passed from the BDG group within a week.
  • Generate and maintain a list of contacts for referrals and introductions to new customers.
  • Introduce new FSS to customer contacts and coordinate account maintenance handoff.
  • Engage in all company marketing and sales campaign efforts.
  • Understand company profitability and manage territory to maximize returns.
  • Implement sales processes adopted by the company.
  • Generate lists of prospective customers for sales leads and maximize sales to those targets.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and industry conditions.
  • Manage customer relations and advocate for the customer while balancing company needs.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries, billing, and collections.
  • Document and share critical customer information through the CRM program and other means.
  • Manage budget and expense account within company guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering.
  • 2 years of experience in an outside sales position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to write proposals and technical documents that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
