About the position

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the profitable sale of a broad range of Allmand products through consultative selling to customers in an assigned territory. This role requires you to effectively manage customer expectations, utilizing conflict resolution skills to secure customer orders. You will also be tasked with communicating, implementing, and executing all applicable company programs to customers, ensuring that they are well-informed and satisfied with the services provided. Your primary responsibilities will include presenting sales and marketing programs to secure new and existing orders from customers, as well as developing strong business partnerships with both new and existing clients. Maintaining a high level of service and communication with customers is crucial, which will involve a regular and consistent call cycle that includes both phone contact and personal visits. In addition, you will be responsible for recruiting new customers based on market potential and aligning with company strategy and objectives. You will interface with assigned management and support personnel to ensure consistent communication and customer support, which is essential for achieving territory and company goals. You will also be expected to meet territory goals and objectives based on a business plan, revising and updating it as necessary. Controlling and reducing selling costs through efficient customer ranking, routing, planning, and expense control will be part of your duties. You will review and analyze sales and marketing data to promote sales, determine customer needs, and provide forecasting information, while also communicating trends and opportunities to your team. Promoting the sell-thru of customer commitments through advertising, planning, and implementation of group ad campaigns will be essential, as well as promoting individual customer advertising and sound merchandising practices. You may also be assigned other duties as necessary to support the overall objectives of the company.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a sales or customer service environment.
  • Solid knowledge of the equipment industry and green energy standards and solutions.
  • Ability to effectively and strategically manage a large territory.
  • Ability to analyze sales trends to identify alternatives that will maximize sales opportunities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Solid computer skills including understanding of sales software systems, word processing, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work independently with solid organizational skills.
  • Desire to continuously improve through training.
  • Ability to manage business schedule and territory travel effectively.
  • Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility.
