About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Finetech is responsible for driving new sales opportunities and managing existing accounts within a defined territory in Western North America. This role requires a self-motivated individual with technical sales experience in capital equipment, particularly in semiconductor packaging, optoelectronics, or microelectronics markets. The position involves collaboration with technical teams, making product presentations, and utilizing CRM tools to manage sales leads and forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of driving new sales opportunities and maintaining existing accounts in a defined Western North American territory.
  • Qualify, prioritize, and forecast all incoming sales leads via Salesforce CRM, following through to closure.
  • Configure system, tooling, service, and spares quotations. Respond to detailed/formal RFQs.
  • Make technical product presentations to customers, utilizing a consultative approach that focuses on the customer application.
  • Effectively communicate and consult with all organizational levels: senior management, production managers, engineers, researchers, professors, and students.
  • Collaborate with the AZ based technical specialist team to coordinate resources for hands-on equipment demonstrations as well as post-sale account service and support.
  • Work with US and Germany based Finetech resources to manage all details of system sales, from application review, proposal creation, sale, acceptance testing, through post-installation account support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (EE, ME, or Sciences preferred).
  • 3-5 years of Regional Sales or Sales Engineering experience in semiconductor/optoelectronics/microelectronics related markets.
  • Specific experience with semiconductor equipment and advanced packaging is preferred. Experience in die bonding is ideal.
  • Experience with electronics materials and chemistry is desired.
  • Must be very hands-on and comfortable demonstrating capital equipment (both in person or utilizing virtual tools and video conferencing to creatively sell).
  • Strong sales experience using CRM software. Proficiency in the use of Salesforce is strongly desired.
  • Experienced traveler with willingness to travel when needed 50%+, and adaptability to schedule changes.
  • Self-directed and capable of thriving in a small company can-do atmosphere. The ability to multi-task, problem solve and take initiative is a must.
  • Must be very organized, a team player, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM software, and sales forecasting is assumed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
