About The Position

Alamo Industrial® has been a leader in supplying mowers to governmental, agricultural, and commercial turf markets for over 45 years. As one of the world's largest manufacturers of tractor-mounted mowers, brush-cutters, and similar equipment, we are dedicated to providing innovative solutions for right-of-way clearing, roadside vegetation management, and grounds maintenance. Our extensive product line includes rotary, flail, and sickle bar mowers, with our best-in-class boom mowers designed to meet the diverse challenges faced by our customers. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating efforts to maximize sales and services for Alamo Group (TX) Inc. equipment within the assigned geographical area. This role is crucial in achieving annual measurable growth within the territory as set by the company. The Territory Sales Manager will conduct dealer education training, control inventory receivables, and serve as a vital link in the communication process between the company and its dealers. The territory includes states such as CO, IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MN, MO, NE, ND, OH, SD, and WI. Essential functions of the job include creating and maintaining sales volumes relative to the potential for sales within the specific geographical area, meeting sales quotas, preparing and submitting sales forecasts, and promoting Alamo Group products by assisting dealers with retail sales calls and product demonstrations. The role also involves establishing new dealers, maintaining dealer relationships, and ensuring timely collection of accounts receivables. The Territory Sales Manager must live near a major airport within the territory and be prepared to travel extensively, with a travel requirement of 75%.
