About the position

Bay Area Propane and Diesel Delivery, a locally owned small business based in Oakland, CA, is dedicated to becoming the Bay Area's most trusted on-site petroleum delivery company. Our mission is to exceed customer expectations by consistently delivering on time and meeting every need, no job is too big or too small. We are currently seeking an Account Executive responsible for acquiring new business. This role is fundamental to our team, and we are looking for an individual who is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and top-notch service. This position will be based out of our Oakland, CA office. Our ideal candidate should have experience selling to or working with businesses that utilize diesel and/or propane and must have a proven track record in door-to-door sales. The Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting and securing new customers in the SF Bay Area, specifically targeting industrial businesses that use our products and services. This is a door-to-door sales position, and the successful candidate will be expected to achieve monthly quotas for new customer acquisition and meet daily activity goals. Additionally, the role requires maintaining and updating all activities in the CRM daily, ensuring all required forms and contracts are completed and sent to customers, and maintaining communication with operations and customers to ensure outstanding customer service is provided. Compensation includes a base salary of $50-55K, plus uncapped commissions, and a quarterly bonus for meeting quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and secure new customers in the SF Bay Area, specifically targeting industrial businesses using our products and services.
  • Achieve monthly quotas for new customer acquisition and meet daily activity goals.
  • Maintain and update all activities in the CRM daily.
  • Ensure all required forms and contracts are completed and sent to customers.
  • Maintain communication with operations and customers to ensure outstanding customer service is provided.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, particularly door-to-door sales.
  • Proven track record in acquiring new business.
  • Ability to maintain and update CRM systems effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and operations.
