About the position

Closed Loop Recycling (CLR) is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to oversee Sales and Account Management responsibilities in the Texas Region, specifically based out of Houston, TX. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a proven track record in sales and account management. The successful candidate will be responsible for consulting with manufacturing and distribution facilities to implement and manage effective recycling programs. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will engage with prospective clients within your designated region to present CLR's products and services. Your responsibilities will include quoting services, negotiating contracts, training end-users, and onboarding new clients. You will also be tasked with managing and developing additional revenue from current clients, which requires strong phone sales skills and the ability to set appointments with prospective clients, making between 500 to 1,000 calls monthly. Maintaining an opportunity pipeline and documenting interactions within a Customer Relations Management (CRM) system is essential for tracking progress and reporting to CLR's National Sales Manager to achieve regional revenue and profit goals. In this role, you will coordinate with CLR's Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and will be expected to travel within the designated region for regularly scheduled sales trips, which may require 30-50% travel. The position also requires a valid driver's license and the physical ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing between 50 to 600 lbs with the assistance of a pallet jack during the implementation of trials for prospective customers or servicing current customers.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with manufacturing and distribution facilities to implement and manage effective recycling programs.
  • Meet with prospective clients within a designated region to present CLR products & services.
  • Quote services, negotiate contracts, train end-users, and onboard new clients.
  • Manage and develop additional revenue from current clients within a designated region.
  • Develop phone sales skills and set appointments with prospective clients (500 - 1,000 calls monthly).
  • Maintain an opportunity pipeline and document interactions within a Customer Relations Management system (CRM).
  • Report to CLR's National Sales Manager to develop and accomplish regional revenue and profit goals.
  • Coordinate with CLR's Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years B2B industrial sales and/or account management experience preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Leadership skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects with the assistance of a pallet jack during the implementation of trials for prospective customers or servicing current customers (50 - 600 lbs).
