About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at PetroChoice is responsible for acquiring new accounts and maintaining relationships with existing customers in Westchester County, NY. This role involves managing the territory to provide services and solutions, achieving sales volumes and profitability goals, and implementing corporate strategic objectives. Responsibilities

  • Acquire new accounts and maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Manage the territory by providing services and solutions to customers.
  • Achieve sales volumes and profitability goals.
  • Implement corporate strategic objectives.
  • Identify leads through personal territory knowledge and maintain them in Salesforce CRM.
  • Follow up on leads passed from the BDG group within a week.
  • Generate and maintain a list of contacts for effective referrals/introductions.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline within Salesforce.com and execute necessary administrative tasks.
  • Engage in company marketing/sales campaign efforts.
  • Understand company profitability and manage territory to maximize returns.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and industry conditions.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries, billing, and collections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering.
  • 2 years of experience in an outside sales position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to interpret financial reports and technical documents.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the lubricant distribution industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales processes.
