About the position

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) for Toledo, OH is responsible for managing and growing a well-established book of business in the medical sales sector. This role involves both account management and new business development, focusing on maintaining existing relationships while driving new opportunities. The TSM will work from home and travel within the territory, with minimal overnight travel required, and will be supported by a dedicated team in a family-oriented company known for its commitment to service excellence in the medical community.

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales activities within the assigned market segment to achieve budgeted goals.
  • Meet budgeted sales and profit margin by prospecting, qualifying, and generating sales.
  • Ensure effective communication and proper flow of information regarding client requests and scheduling.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by effectively communicating with surgeons and staff.
  • Foster teamwork by working effectively with peers and management to achieve company goals.
  • Perform technical duties related to surgical laser equipment and maintain safety compliance.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with employees, customers, and vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of medical sales experience, with a proven track record of success; 3-5 years preferred.
  • Experience in urology, ENT, or GYN sales is a strong plus.
  • Operating room experience required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on approach to the sales process.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
