About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth within a designated territory in the healthcare sector. This role involves building strong relationships with healthcare providers, developing strategic partnerships, and effectively communicating product offerings. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and will work collaboratively within a team to achieve sales targets and maximize market penetration.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve territory sales targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of products and services, communicating their benefits to customers.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Track sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and product development teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
  • Understand hospital supply chain challenges and communicate solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or relevant field.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, products, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other necessary computer programs.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior sales management experience preferred but not required.
  • Prior capital equipment sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Hunter sales mindset and ability to close deals.
