About the position

Swedish Match North America LLC, a rapidly growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) producer and market leader of well-known smokeless tobacco products, nicotine ZYN pouch products, as well as complementary products, is currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Moreno Valley, CA, and surrounding area. The successful candidate will manage all sales and operational functions within the respective assigned geography. This role is crucial for driving sales and ensuring that the company's products are effectively represented in retail stores within the designated territory. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for selling and servicing Swedish Match's products in retail stores in the assigned geography. This includes gaining new item distribution, executing promotions, merchandising products, and ensuring the freshness of all products in all assigned stores. The candidate will utilize data to develop fact-based presentations for customers and follow the established call process. Additionally, the role involves handling all administrative aspects of the job, including managing expenses and point of sale materials. To succeed in this position, the candidate must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrate problem-solving abilities to develop creative solutions. Critical thinking is essential, as the candidate must be able to think and act effectively in selling situations. Analytical skills are also important, as the candidate will need to analyze data and develop a sales plan. Planning skills are necessary to prioritize activities and achieve results. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business math skills is required.
