About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at PosiGen is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Residential Energy Specialists. This role involves setting schedules, organizing daily activities, and ensuring adherence to company standards while promoting solar power and energy efficiency upgrades to homeowners. The manager will also engage in direct sales activities and provide training to new team members, fostering a high-performance sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee 6-8 Residential Energy Specialists and Sr. Residential Energy Specialists
  • Meet and exceed all personal and team targets
  • Coach, mentor and train new specialists on best practices in sales
  • Assist team members with sales activities, including performing daily ride-alongs and managing customer inquiries
  • Organize and oversee lead generation activities for the team
  • Speak with potential customers about PosiGen's clean energy solutions
  • Review team member scorecards and suggest training to improve performance
  • Collaborate with Telemarketing professionals to confirm in-home appointments
  • Participate in community events and host in-home solar events
  • Assist homeowners with documentation and qualifying for incentives
  • Provide high-level customer service throughout the customer's lifecycle
  • Contact satisfied customers for referral opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a quota-driven sales position
  • Experience coaching and training a high-performance team
  • Demonstrated aptitude for cold calling and canvassing
  • In-home sales experience preferred
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Must have a clean driving record and valid state driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal and drug screen
  • Must be able to obtain HIS Certification
