About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Midwestern Pet Foods is responsible for driving sales growth and brand awareness for the company's pet food products within the Iowa/Kansas/Nebraska region. This role requires strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to achieving sales targets while providing exceptional support to retailers and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales goals and objectives
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Midwestern Pet Foods products, market conditions, and retailer strategies to maximize sales
  • Build strong relationships and offer exceptional support to our retailers and customers
  • Develop and execute innovative/creative sales strategies
  • Manage company tools and resources effectively to deliver maximum results
  • Professionally represent Midwestern Pet Foods and brands

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in sales, preferably in pet foods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Computer/mobile technology proficient
  • Valid driver's license, presentable transportation and insurance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
