About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Federal Signal Corporation is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers. This role focuses on driving sales through direct engagement with dealers and end-users, providing product training, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service and support.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining new and existing customers through company visits and contact calls.
  • Implementing end-user pull through sales programs through the dealer direct network.
  • Presenting product information to increase and maintain sales.
  • Training dealer sales staff on products, demonstrations, and dealer/prospect calls.
  • Accurately completing estimates and developing customer sales programs when needed.
  • Assisting with customer service including follow up on customer complaints, troubleshooting, distributing product literature and price changes.
  • Completing dealer call reports, sales forecasting, and assisting with maintaining competitor files.
  • Demonstrating products and working trade shows.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train and motivate dealer sales staff.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Experience in customer service and complaint resolution.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the public safety or emergency services industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
