Southern Marketing Affiliates, Inc. (SMA) is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Lubbock, TX. This position is crucial for leading the sales efforts within the current SMA Customer Network while also focusing on developing new customers and exploring new market opportunities. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for actively engaging with a customer network within an assigned territory, which encompasses a wide range of agricultural-related parts and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly within the agriculture industry, and will be expected to achieve annual sales goals while maintaining excellent relationships with existing customers. In this role, the Territory Sales Manager will be tasked with training customers on the SMA website and other interactive tools, ensuring they are well-equipped to utilize our resources effectively. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for researching and recommending new product opportunities that align with market demands. A key aspect of the position involves recording customer interactions in the SMA Customer Resource Management (CRM) system, which is essential for tracking sales progress and customer engagement. The Territory Sales Manager will also monitor accounts receivable and assist in securing payments as needed, ensuring the financial health of the customer relationships. This position requires a proactive approach to sales and customer service, with a strong emphasis on communication skills and the ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
