As the Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining target accounts while driving sales growth and new business within a specific territory. This is such a critical role to our business and is well suited for someone who enjoys talking with customers and cultivating relationships. This is a perfect sales opportunity for the sales hunter that prefers to be home in the evening! In this role, you will lead all sales and account planning, forecasting, and reporting efforts for assigned accounts within your territory. You will understand, assess, and anticipate customers' objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunities. Your success will be measured by your ability to acquire new customers and maximize supply center revenue, while providing exceptional customer service and issue resolution. You will also act as a mentor for other sales representatives, sharing your knowledge of the AM sales process and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain target accounts while driving sales growth and new business within a specific territory.
  • Lead all sales and account planning, forecasting, and reporting efforts for assigned accounts.
  • Understand, assess, and anticipate customers' objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
  • Acquire new customers to maximize supply center revenue.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up on escalated issues.
  • Work closely with supply center and corporate resources to enter and fulfill orders.
  • Act as a mentor for other sales representatives.

Requirements

  • Successful sales history with 2+ years of outside sales experience.
  • Solid longevity in past positions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Vehicle that meets the vehicle reimbursement program.
  • CRM experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-directed, highly organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and competitive.
  • Proven experience in new business selling, upselling, and selling.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience within the building materials industry is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of core building material products (specifically windows & siding) for both single and multi-family applications.
  • Preferred experience working with builders and architects to create bigger ticket sales.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 based on experience.
  • Commission structure with 55% uncapped.
