Cameron Ashley Building Products is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive sales growth within a designated geographical area. This role is pivotal in leveraging industry and product knowledge to enhance the company's value proposition among strategically aligned customer bases. The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) will proactively engage with existing, new, and target customers to expand the company's market presence and sales footprint. The TSM will be responsible for establishing effective sales relationships, developing strategic growth strategies, and managing customer accounts to foster long-term partnerships. In this position, the TSM will utilize their product knowledge and market awareness to represent the company's diverse range of products and services effectively. They will work closely with the Distribution Center Manager and Inside Sales Representatives to implement key account penetration strategies aimed at growing existing customer business while also targeting new opportunities. The TSM will be expected to provide timely quotes, handle price objections, and prepare bids, ensuring that customers are kept informed about product and pricing updates. Additionally, the TSM will develop and deliver professional sales and educational presentations to both internal and external customers. They will be responsible for recording, analyzing, reporting, and forecasting account information to identify sales strategies and objectives. This role requires a self-directed approach to learning about new products and market trends, as well as the ability to adapt to the dynamic sales cycle.
