About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at GN Group is a pivotal role focused on driving sales growth and managing customer relationships within the designated territory of Georgia and Florida. This position is essential for achieving net hearing instrument sales quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, which is crucial for growing the business and addressing any service issues that may arise, such as remakes, repairs, and turnaround times. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying competitive information and leveraging it to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. In addition to sales responsibilities, the Territory Sales Manager will prepare an annual territory business plan that aligns with corporate goals. This plan will be reviewed and updated quarterly in collaboration with the regional director and inside sales counterpart. The candidate will also work closely with inside sales to prospect, develop, and recruit new customers each month, ensuring a steady pipeline of business opportunities. The role involves introducing and establishing new products to both existing and new customers, as well as providing training on GN ReSound's hearing devices using specialized software programs. Effective communication and presentation skills are essential, as the Territory Sales Manager will need to convincingly present GN ReSound's technology to both individual customers and larger groups. Maintaining the accuracy of the customer database and completing sales and corporate reporting requirements in a timely manner are also key responsibilities. The position demands a high level of professionalism and adherence to company policies while representing GN Resound at various professional meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve net hearing instrument sales quota on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships to grow current customer business.
  • Identify and address customer service issues, including remakes, repairs, and turnaround times.
  • Prepare and review an annual territory business plan with the regional director and inside sales counterpart.
  • Work effectively with inside sales to prospect, develop, and recruit new customers each month.
  • Introduce and establish new products to existing and new customers.
  • Coordinate training for customers on GN ReSound's hearing devices using software programs.
  • Provide software and hardware support to existing accounts as needed.
  • Develop effective communication and presentation skills to sell GN ReSound's technology.
  • Utilize marketing tools and programs to build customer loyalty to GN ReSound.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the GN ReSound customer database in the region.
  • Complete sales and corporate reporting requirements in a timely manner.
  • Maintain professional standards of behavior when communicating with customers and coworkers.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree required; Business or Marketing emphasis preferred.
  • 3+ years in outside sales selling a tangible product preferred.
  • 3+ years of Business to Business selling experience (non-retail) preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
  • Experience with database management.
