About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Alside is responsible for developing and maintaining target accounts while driving sales growth and new business within a specific territory. This role is critical to the business and is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction and relationship building. The position offers a base salary with uncapped commission potential, making it a lucrative opportunity for motivated sales professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all sales and account planning, forecasting, and reporting efforts for assigned accounts within the territory.
• Understand, assess, and anticipate customers' objectives and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
• Acquire new customers to maximize supply center revenue.
• Provide exceptional customer service and follow up on escalated issues, maintaining a solid partnership with primary contacts.
• Collaborate with supply center and corporate resources to ensure order fulfillment.
• Possess strong knowledge of the AM sales process and policies, including accruals, credit, and expenses.
• Act as a mentor for other sales representatives.

Requirements

• Successful sales history with 2+ years of outside sales experience.
• Solid longevity in past positions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Vehicle that meets the vehicle reimbursement program.
• CRM experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience within the building materials industry is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of core building material products, specifically windows and siding, for both single and multi-family applications.
• Preferred experience working with builders and architects to create larger ticket sales.
