Alliance Door Products is excited to announce an immediate opening for a Territory Sales Manager to cover Colorado. This dynamic role offers a fantastic opportunity to drive sales growth and build strong relationships in these key territories. The Territory Sales Manager is entrusted with the leadership, management, and coordination of the sales and marketing activities related to growing business profitably within the assigned customer base or region. This individual is expected to deliver the highest level of customer service and sales support while honoring the company Statement of Purpose. The Territory Sales Manager will be the consummate expert on the products and services provided by Alliance Door Products, thereby addressing our corporate goal of connecting customer needs to supplier solutions. In this role, you will conduct yourself with the highest levels of integrity, positively representing the company and employees in a trustworthy and sincere manner. You will provide constructive and professional communication to team members within the branch and will be required to travel regularly within the prescribed territory. As an expert on Alliance products and services, you will acquire an advanced understanding of the branch's shop, warehouse, and shipping processes. You will be responsible for growing business profitably by expanding opportunities with existing customers and developing new customers who meet the profile criteria and credit worthiness guidelines established by the company. Your responsibilities will include making routine scheduled visits to the assigned customer base, being the point person for job site issues, product inspections, and product returns, and participating in regular professional development related to Alliance's products, services, and customer service. You will also schedule and conduct product knowledge meetings within the assigned territory, travel with vendor representatives, facilitate vendor plant tours, and assist in the creation of marketing programs and promotions specific to the assigned territory. Additionally, you will submit weekly reports of activities utilizing the CRM tool, prepare annual sales projections, and communicate regularly with management regarding challenges and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend and assist in the creation of marketing programs and promotions specific to the assigned territory.
  • Execute all promotions and pricing programs created to support sales.
  • Submit a weekly report of activities utilizing the CRM tool.
  • Prepare a sales projection forecast annually, by product category, for each existing customer.
  • Identify specific territory goals and initiatives annually.
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding challenges and opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of experience working in territory development and management.
  • Familiarity with the millwork industry or the building industry is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate concisely and clearly in both written and verbal exchanges.
  • Significant experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel software is a must.
  • A current and valid driver's license is required due to travel obligations.
