The TSM will represent Great Southern Equipment in the market, focusing on securing business through various strategies, including planning and executing field rental days, conducting machine and attachment training for new customers, and ensuring consistent performance in key areas such as account management and new business prospecting. The TSM will be tasked with monitoring business trends, market intelligence, and competitive practices to effectively communicate the state of the business. This role demands a strong working knowledge of all GSE products to provide consultative assistance regarding machine specifications and performance. The TSM will work closely with the assigned Regional Rental Manager to prioritize new business opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction. Establishing and maintaining relationships with existing customers while forming new partnerships through networking and cold calling is essential. The position also emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, and a cohesive work environment, with the expectation that the TSM will meet or exceed all management requirements. In addition to sales responsibilities, the TSM will perform weekly administrative tasks and excel in quarterly reviews that demonstrate growth and adherence to company processes. The role requires flexibility in working hours and the ability to travel within the territory, with travel expectations reaching up to 75%.

Responsibilities

  • Represent GSE in the market according to company values.
  • Secure business through planning and executing field rental days, including scheduled meetings and new business prospecting.
  • Conduct machine and attachment training for new customers.
  • Ensure consistent performance in key areas such as account management and effective CRM utilization.
  • Monitor business trends, market intelligence, and competitive practices to communicate the state of the business effectively.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of all GSE products to offer consultative assistance.
  • Work closely with the assigned Regional Rental Manager to develop and prioritize new business opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with existing customers and form new partnerships through networking and cold calling.
  • Perform weekly administrative tasks and excel in quarterly reviews that display growth.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to maximize customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and must meet General Liability driving requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and maintain positive relationships with customers and leaders.
  • Proven ability to effectively market products, negotiate terms, and close deals.
  • Self-starter, proactive, strategic thinker, and resourceful.
  • Effective organizational, time management, and priority-setting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google platform.
  • Familiarity with CRM-based software.
  • Ability to travel within a territory and work flexible hours.
  • Physical ability to climb in and out of vehicles and equipment used for demonstration purposes.
  • Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience required.
