About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the profitable sales growth targets for the commercial and residential businesses. This role is pivotal in developing and executing market plans that focus on identifying and capitalizing on the best opportunities to grow territory sales. A significant emphasis will be placed on target account development and future demand generation. The Territory Sales Manager will create and maintain an account plan for their targeted accounts, ensuring that they continually update their account development progress on Salesforce (SFDC) by sharing key insights, opportunities, and challenges. This position is integral to the regional team, collaborating closely with the Uponor marketing team to execute corporate strategies at the local level. This is a fully remote role, with the ideal candidate located in the Denver market. In terms of responsibilities, the Territory Sales Manager will achieve commercial sales and gross profit goals by executing the Market Plan. They will create an account development plan for their individual Top 10 Target Contractor accounts within their assigned territory. These account plans must include business owners or key executives to ensure involvement at the highest levels. The manager will also oversee the commercial project pipeline in SFDC to ensure visibility to projects and provide accurate sales forecasts. Collaboration with the National Accounts Team is essential to leverage national account relationships, ensuring local alignment and execution of corporate initiatives. The manager will utilize SFDC as a tool to manage business effectively, keeping commercial accounts updated, logging regular face-to-face meetings for target accounts, and sharing account development progress. Additionally, they will conduct training sessions to drive awareness of Uponor's value proposition and seek opportunities to contribute to business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5-7 years of related experience in sales or account management.
  • Knowledge of major account selling and the construction market is required.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Experience in the PHCP industry is preferred.
