About the position

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) at Paynada is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new business and managing a team of Client Executives. This role combines direct sales in the B2B environment with team leadership, allowing the TSM to build a personal book of business while also mentoring and profiting from the accounts of their direct reports. The position emphasizes independence, problem-solving, and the ability to foster professional relationships in a dynamic sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit Client Executives in your territory.
  • Train, develop, motivate and manage your direct reports.
  • Conduct direct sales in the B2B environment, both in-person and virtually.
  • Analyze prospects and client information through a consultative sales approach.
  • Recommend both merchant services and technology to meet your client's needs.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and offer creative solutions to B2B challenges.
  • Confidently handle objections and make direct business requests in a B2B context.
  • Dedicate yourself to building your B2B business and fostering a professional network.
  • Utilize advanced interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills in B2B interactions.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision in a B2B outside sales role.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of outside sales experience is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Merchant Processing industry experience is a MUST.
  • Ability to creatively solve and overcome objections.
  • Dedication to building a successful business and cultivating a professional network.
  • Advanced interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills relevant to business interactions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an outside sales role.
