The Territory Sales Manager will develop and execute a strategic sales plan aimed at achieving and exceeding sales targets for various products, including Containers, Ground Level Offices, Singlewide Modular Structures, and Complex Modular Structures, along with value-added products. Approximately 40% of the role will involve outbound prospecting, 30% will focus on converting inbound inquiries, and the remaining time will be dedicated to account development and in-person customer visits. The successful candidate will identify and prioritize potential customers and market segments, maintaining a robust sales pipeline and consistently working towards converting leads into sales. This role also emphasizes building and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular communication, site visits, and exceptional service, ensuring that customer needs are understood and addressed promptly. In addition to sales responsibilities, the Territory Sales Manager will conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, providing valuable feedback to the management team. The role includes preparing competitive price quotes, negotiating sales agreements, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and delivery. Reporting and documentation are also key components, as the manager will maintain detailed records of sales activities and generate reports on performance and market trends. Team collaboration is essential, as the Territory Sales Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Spend approximately 40% of time on outbound prospecting, 30% on inbound inquiry conversion, and the balance on account development and customer visits.
  • Identify and prioritize potential customers, industries, and market segments for business development.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and work towards converting leads into successful sales.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
  • Utilize SalesForce CRM system to track performance and manage customer relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and provide feedback to management.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes and negotiate sales agreements.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and generate reports on performance and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.

Requirements

  • High school degree, GED, or applicable experience.
  • 1 year of outbound prospecting experience or 1 year experience at WillScot Mobile Mini.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 10%-20% for field visits with important customers.
  • Demonstrated professional communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience effectively using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams).
