About the position

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) at Waterfront Brands is responsible for developing and maintaining dealership networks within the Western U.S. This role involves training, servicing, and supporting dealers while also analyzing market data to drive sales. The TSM will sell premium business opportunities through prospecting and training, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to corporate policies.

Responsibilities

  • Expand dealer channels by prospecting the territory to recruit, select, and train new dealers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to dealers.
  • Facilitate training on products, new sales promotions, and sales/marketing tools.
  • Help assemble and maintain product displays and marketing aids for the dealer network.
  • Move or deliver product as needed at times.
  • Assist dealers at boat shows with setup, teardown, and retail sales support.
  • Provide information to management by recapping sales call activity and reporting business opportunities, results, trends, and competitive information.
  • Identify target markets and develop action plans to increase market share.
  • Achieve territory financial revenue objectives by adding new dealers and helping existing dealers grow.
  • Act as a steward of corporate systems policies and procedures regarding coop, promotions, warranty, and sales, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge about waterfront products by attending workshops and studying professional publications.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Strictly follow safety policies, procedures, rules, and safe work methods.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience; outside sales experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience utilizing a CRM system.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, with customers and all levels of staff.
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter.
