About the position

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting sales within defined territories and expanding both new and existing accounts. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, where you will be responsible for soliciting and selling to new customers while also nurturing relationships with existing clients. You will need to present solutions and services effectively, ensuring that customers are well-informed about the products available through Elitek Vehicle Services. Your ability to communicate clearly and persuasively will be essential in making impactful sales presentations and conveying product information accurately. In addition to direct sales responsibilities, you will assist in training and motivating other members of the sales team, fostering a collaborative environment that drives performance. Maintaining the integrity of the company's quality management systems is also a key aspect of this role, as is compliance with established company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to multitask effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality and accuracy in all tasks. This position requires a willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, with a company car provided for your convenience. Applicants must reside in one of the following states: Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, or Rhode Island. The role is full-time, with a standard 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday, and no weekend work is required.

Responsibilities

  • Solicit and sell to new and existing customers.
  • Present solutions and services that are available to customers.
  • Familiarize with Elitek Vehicle Services' product literature and convey product information to customers.
  • Make sales presentations on new and existing accounts.
  • Assist in training and motivating other sales team members.
  • Ensure the integrity of the Company's quality management systems.
  • Comply with established company policies and procedures.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • A minimum of two years' sales and/or distribution experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a Company vehicle.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
  • Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules when needed.
  • Must possess attention to detail while working in a timely fashion.
  • Must possess organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work under various conditions with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to move and/or lift at least 75 pounds.
