About the position

As a Territory Sales Manager at Uline, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships based on trust, which is the foundation of our sales culture. This position allows you to manage your own territory, supported by comprehensive training, top-notch tools, and an extensive product offering to ensure your success in the field. Uline is experiencing continuous growth, which translates into new career opportunities and job stability for our employees. You will have the flexibility to be based anywhere within your sales territory, with regular visits to your Uline Branch or Sales Office. Your journey begins with an extensive training program that lasts four weeks, followed by a 12-week mentorship program. You will also participate in weekly learning and strategy meetings with leadership to enhance your skills and knowledge. As the “CEO” of your territory, you will manage accounts across various industries and have opportunities to explore new markets. You will have the autonomy to design your day, balancing time spent in the office with your peers and planning face-to-face customer visits. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing existing accounts while also bringing in new business within your territory. You will provide effective business solutions during annual, on-site customer consultations, utilizing our catalog of over 40,000 quality products. Delivering legendary customer service is paramount, and you will have the support of our dedicated sales support team to achieve this goal.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing accounts within your territory.
  • Bring in new business opportunities.
  • Provide effective business solutions during annual, on-site customer consultations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with the support of the sales team.
  • Participate in weekly learning and strategy meetings with leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Previous sales experience preferred, but thorough training will be provided.
  • Valid driver's license with a great driving record.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Presentation skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform some overnight travel within Alaska and to Uline's Seattle, WA distribution center.
