About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Concentric is responsible for driving business growth within existing accounts and securing new business in the material handling industry. This role requires a combination of sales and project management skills, with a focus on building strong relationships and acting as a solutions expert for clients. The position involves managing the GuaranteedPOWER® program and collaborating with senior management and sales teams to develop effective strategies for customer acquisition and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage the entire sales process, including targeting prospects, identifying client solutions, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Act as a solutions expert consultant to help partners with their unique critical business issues and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to establish a clear plan for growing the Concentric customer base.
  • Share ideas and new business development strategies with sales teams.
  • Utilize company CRM to provide visibility and communicate activity in the assigned territory.
  • Strategize on social selling opportunities.
  • Attend company training programs and accompany other associates or managers during ride-alongs to learn job skills.
  • Prepare specifications and service expectations in accordance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Calculate job costs and market-based pricing for solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Proven record of prospecting and cold calling clients to achieve new business acquisitions.
  • Experience in customer service is required.
  • Experience in Industrial Sales is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; further education is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
  • Must own reliable transportation.
