About the position

As a Territory Sales Manager at Permobil, you will play a crucial role in strategically managing and growing your assigned territory. Your primary focus will be on effectively promoting, selling, and supporting Permobil's complex rehab and assistive technology products. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults and children living with disabilities. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals, ensuring a significant business and financial impact. This includes building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients, understanding client needs, and proposing tailored solutions to create demand. In addition to sales execution, you will oversee demo inventory management at various referral and customer locations within your territory. This involves ensuring the availability and optimal allocation of demo units to support sales objectives while managing related expenses responsibly. You will continuously analyze sales trends within the territory, providing regular reports and planning sales activities based on these insights to meet or exceed sales targets. Maintaining regular contact with existing clients to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction with our products and services will also be a key responsibility. You will identify and engage with potential customers, employing innovative strategies to convert them from competitors to Permobil customers. Staying abreast of industry developments, products, technologies, and competitive activities is essential, as this knowledge will inform your sales strategies and tactics. You will also ensure thorough knowledge and application of company policies and procedures, including the company vehicle policy. Representing the company at trade shows and meetings, as required, will be part of your role, along with utilizing approved sales collateral for promotional needs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet territorial objectives. Administrative excellence is crucial, as you will need to ensure all administrative tasks, including paperwork, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously analyze sales trends and provide regular reports.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing clients to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction.

  • Ensure thorough knowledge and application of company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Technical Discipline, or a related area is preferred.
  • ATP, OT, or PT license is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience, or at least 1 year in the complex rehab/assistive technology industry.
  • Prior experience in the medical device field, preferably in complex rehab/assistive technology.
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs to influence and guide strategic decisions.
  • Experience in conducting multiple referral calls daily.
  • Proven skills in business planning, consulting, and territory financial analysis.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and consultative sales skills.
  • Ability to make informed decisions within established guidelines.
