About the position

The Territory Market Manager (TMM) at Floral Beverages is responsible for overseeing all sales, marketing, and distribution activities within the Missouri market, with potential expansion into Southern Illinois, Iowa, and Eastern Kansas. This role aims to normalize THC beverages as an alternative to alcohol, focusing on building relationships with distributors and retail accounts to enhance brand presence and drive sales. The TMM will work closely with the Director of Sales Operations and collaborate with marketing and fulfillment teams to achieve strategic goals and ensure compliance with legal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Floral with integrity and professionalism.
  • Understand and implement the strategic plan and sales goals for the Territory.
  • Motivate and enable direct reports and local distribution partners through clear communication of strategic sales objectives.
  • Optimize the sales, marketing, and fulfillment team resources across the Territory.
  • Conduct sales reviews with each direct report to address market-specific tactics, revise forecasts, and support strategic goals.
  • Build partnerships with distributors and key accounts, adding more value than competitors.
  • Assist in building Floral Beverage's reputation as an industry leader through engagement with stakeholders.
  • Engage in long-term brand building activities through core messaging and community events.
  • Manage supply chain logistics in accordance with company standards and legal compliance.
  • Complete company administration requirements on-time, including market activity and expense reports.
  • Identify non-Floral accounts and develop plans for market saturation.
  • Interpret and communicate sales data to identify opportunities for new accounts and volume increases.
  • Attend all Floral Sales Team meetings as required.
  • Understand legal restrictions regarding THC beverage offerings to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule as weekends and extended workdays are often necessary.
  • Supervise Field Sales Representatives on promotions at customers, festivals, and events.
  • Ensure quality standards and age restrictions are enforced by distributors and retailers.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive adult beverage sales experience.
  • 1+ year of management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Strong desire to grow professionally with the company.
  • Self-starter with a tenacious work ethic.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to complete tasks independently.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Ability to pre-plan multiple responsibilities and execute tasks in a timely manner.
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, GSuite, and remote work tech.
