About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Associated Materials, LLC is responsible for developing and maintaining target accounts while driving sales growth and new business within a specific territory. This role is critical to the business and is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction and relationship building, with a focus on achieving sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain target accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Drive sales growth and new business acquisition.
  • Lead all sales and account planning, forecasting, and reporting efforts for assigned accounts.
  • Understand and anticipate customers' objectives and requirements to identify sales opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up on escalated issues.
  • Collaborate with supply center and corporate resources to fulfill orders.
  • Mentor other sales representatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of outside sales experience.
  • Successful sales history with solid longevity in past positions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with CRM software required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-directed, highly organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and competitive.
  • Proven experience in new business selling and upselling.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience within the building materials industry is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of core building material products, specifically windows and siding.
  • Preferred experience working with builders and architects.
