About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Curio Holdings is responsible for representing a leading cannabis brand in Missouri, focusing on building strong relationships with dispensary management to achieve annual sales revenue goals. This role involves regular visits to dispensaries to monitor inventory, ensure product availability, and effectively display marketing materials to enhance brand awareness. The manager will collaborate closely with the Vice President of Sales to implement client-focused selling strategies and track sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with approximately 25 dispensaries in a designated territory.
  • Visit all assigned dispensaries weekly during regular business hours to monitor inventory and solicit orders.
  • Meet or exceed weekly revenue targets for the assigned region.
  • Suggest promotional plans for Curio Wellness products and ensure promotional products are available.
  • Utilize data to identify market opportunities and influence key stakeholders.
  • Solicit feedback from dispensary agents regarding product quality and patient requests.
  • Schedule and staff monthly or quarterly pop-up events at dispensary locations.
  • Install merchandising and marketing materials in dispensaries as needed.
  • Offer quarterly brand training to new dispensary staff.
  • Communicate new product information and market trends to the Director of Sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent job-related experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in cannabis, pharmaceutical, or CPG sales with a proven track record of increasing revenues.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done.
  • Proven ability to build customer and consumer relationships.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with sales management systems and data-driven decision making.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and innovative with the ability to work independently or in teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Existing knowledge of the cannabis market preferred but not required.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
